HELLO!

Hello, students of Basic 1!

Estoy en el proceso de cambiar el orden de entradas, para que las que corresponden al principio del curso aparezcan primero. Poco a poco las ireis viendo en el orden correcto. Simplemente recordad que las que están correctamente situadas son las que tienen fecha a partir del 1 de octubre de 2010. La fecha está sobre cada entrada.

Espero que dejeis vuestros comentarios para que el blog sea interactivo. Para hacerlo, haced click dónde dice Comment debajo de la entrada. Se abrirá una ventana y ahí podeis escribir.

También os quiero recordar dos cosas más: por favor traed una foto para la ficha, que os daré en breve. Y mandadme un correo electrónico a la dirección que aparece a la derecha en el blog (ya os la dí en clase), para que tenga las direcciones de toda la clase. De esta manera, si necesito comunicarme con alguien o con todo el grupo,  no habrá problema.

This is a link to La Mansión del Inglés, a website where you can practise grammar, vocabulary, listening, etc.(Click on the Big Ben)

Today listen to different people talk about their houses. The listenings are on the left column (NIVEL BÁSICO): Craig's house, Terry's house, etc. Open the audio file in a new window and read the questions at the same time.

There's some vocabulary and grammar you don't have to learn, but it's good if you use a dictionary and learn new words, for example "villa" (=a house usually in the countryside or near the sea. People often rent it for a holiday.)
